Wayne Rooney has admitted that the team needs to score more goals if they are to win football matches on a regular basis.

Once Manchester United were regarded as the epic tome of attacking football when it comes to the Premier League. However, they have barely managed to score more than a goal per game under the regime of Louis Van Gaal. This was not significantly better than the previous regime under David Moyes. The failure to score goals has been the club go on a run of five matches without a win in all competitions.
